When you’re getting started with new countertops, you’re likely to have a lot of questions about the process. Here are a few of the customer questions we hear most often at Five Stars Granite.

Yes! We value the safety of our customers and staff above all else. Having a fully licensed and insured crew adds a layer of protection for both us and you.

Yes! We’ll be happy to stop by and provide an estimate. We also offer free installations, as well as free undermount sinks for bars, kitchens, and bathroom vanities.

Five Stars Granite stands behind all of our work with a lifetime warranty on installation. Additional warranties may be available for the materials you use; please ask us about them if you’re interested.

We do offer remnants, and they are available at a discounted price. To learn more about our selection of remnants, please make an appointment to visit our showroom.

Possibly. If you’d like to use your existing sink and faucet, let us know beforehand. We’ll examine it during the design consultation to make sure it’s in good condition and compatible with the new design. If it’s damaged, or if it won’t fit with your new countertops, you’ll need to replace it.

No need to worry about that! We’ll remove your existing countertops prior to the installation.

That all depends on the type of stone you choose. Quartz, quartzite, and other manmade materials don’t require additional sealing. Because they’re made with resin, they are nonporous surfaces. Natural stone surfaces, like granite and marble, require regular sealing. We recommend applying a sealer after your countertops are installed. We have several options available. Depending on the type of sealant you choose, annual re-application may be necessary.
