The natural beauty of marble

There’s nothing quite like the natural beauty of a marble countertop. The classic look of marble comes from heating soft limestone until crystals form, which gives marble its durability and shine. No two slabs of marble look the same, giving your home’s surfaces a style all their own.

Marble can enhance the look of any indoor space. Bars and bathroom vanities will have a touch of elegance with new marble surfaces. Thanks to its remarkable heat resistance, marble is a particularly good choice for kitchen countertops. It is soft and porous, though, so you’ll want to use cutting boards and avoid spills as best you can. Please keep in mind that we don’t recommend using it outdoors, as direct sunlight can cause it to lose its color and shine over time.

For a fireplace surround that adds style and grace to your home, marble is a perfect choice. Even the most ordinary fireplace becomes extraordinarily beautiful with a new marble surround created by our master craftsmen.

How do I care for my marble countertops?

Because marble is made entirely of natural stone, it’s a porous surface that requires regular sealing. We recommend applying a sealer after your countertops are installed. We have several options available. Depending on the type of sealant you choose, annual re-application may be necessary. Marble is much softer than other natural stone surfaces, so you may want to reseal your marble countertops quarterly if you use them more often. For day-to-day care, we recommend using a microfiber cloth and marble cleaner, which can be found at any local department or hardware store.
